## Description

Les Fourmis Vertes is an association focused on environmental education, awareness and training, with a social dimension that encourages people to live well together and alongside the natural world. For more than ten years, it has shared practical knowledge and environmental convictions with children and adults, connecting everyday choices at home, school and in local neighborhoods with broader environmental issues. Its work reaches school and after-school groups, neighborhood organizations, residents and other audiences.

The association offers educational activities on topics including waste, water, energy, housing, nature and the city. To make learning accessible, it uses presentations, videos, theatre, exercises, games, practical projects, experiments and visits, often leading participants to create a final project that showcases learning and can engage others. It also develops teaching resources such as posters, exhibitions, educational games, booklets and models.

A key initiative is the API, or Itinerant Educational Apartment, created from years of field experience and developed in collaboration with social housing providers.
