## Description

Fowid, the Research Group on Worldviews in Germany, is an information and research platform focused on religion, secularism and the changing beliefs and affiliations of people in Germany and elsewhere. It presents current reporting alongside an extensive archive of articles, statistics, surveys and documentary material. Its coverage includes religious affiliation, church membership and departures, the growth of people with no religious affiliation, and trends affecting religious communities and secular organisations. Fowid also examines related topics such as political membership, trade unions, humanism, education, social attitudes and the relationship between worldview, society and the state. Visitors can explore research findings, comparisons between regions and countries, and commentary on how statistics are interpreted in public debate. The site features recommended reading, subject tags, search tools and updates through social media and an RSS feed. By organising data and analysis on these subjects, Fowid offers readers a resource for understanding how worldviews and organised communities are evolving.
