## Description

Friends of WSART is a charity that supports the vital work of the Water Search and Rescue Team. With a growing number of fundraising volunteers, we have created a strong and passionate community. We believe in making fundraising enjoyable and memorable for everyone involved. Our main purpose is to prevent and protect lives, relieve suffering, and assist in water-based rescue incidents or other emergency response situations. Water Search and Rescue Team plays a crucial role in supporting communities throughout the United Kingdom when it comes to flooding and water rescue. Both WSART and FoWSART rely solely on the generous donations from the community, as we do not receive any funding from the public sector. Our history dates back to 2018, when FoWSART was founded to provide urgent funding for LNC Activities and Training Community Interest Company. Since then, we have continued to grow and strengthen our fundraising team. Led by our dedicated Trustees, we strive to fulfill our vision and purpose, setting the strategic direction of the charity. We are grateful for the support of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers, who play a significant role in our mission to assist those in need. Join us today and make a difference in the lives of families living in flood-risk areas.
