## Description

FOX-Aviation Historique is a French company dedicated to promoting France’s aviation heritage through the restoration and reproduction of legendary historic aircraft. Founded in 2016, it focuses on producing small numbers of vintage planes that remain faithful to their original designs, plans, materials, and construction techniques while being fitted with new engines. Its first featured aircraft is the SPAD VII C1, the renowned First World War fighter flown by French aces including Georges Guynemer, René Fonck, and Charles Nungesser, as well as allied pilots such as Italy’s Francesco Baracca and America’s Eddie Rickenbacker. The first reproduction is planned to be offered for sale with a new 180-horsepower Hispano-Suiza V8 Ad engine. FOX-Aviation Historique brings together a team with expertise in historic aircraft and Hispano-Suiza engines. Sales and final preparation of the aircraft are handled by Early Aviators, based in Tours-Sorigny. Through its carefully executed reproductions, the company aims to make historically significant aircraft available in airworthy condition.
