Fox Wood Forest School is a not-for-profit social enterprise founded in April 2016, serving children and families in the Diss and Roydon area of Norfolk. Based in a newly planted woodland at Fox Wood, the organisation offers outdoor, adventurous play and forest school experiences in a nurturing community. Its child-led, play-based approach gives children opportunities to explore the natural world, build confidence and resilience, and support their development and wellbeing.

Fox Wood’s work is guided by three aims: promoting physical and mental wellbeing through time in nature and connection with others; helping children and families develop a lasting relationship with nature through play and exploration; and creating a haven for local wildlife. The site provides a natural setting for learning, discovery and shared experiences. The organisation also features Fox Wood Play Schools and provides information about bookings, activities and what to expect at forest school. Located at Brewers Green, Roydon, Fox Wood welcomes families seeking outdoor play and opportunities for children to learn through nature.
