# Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `fpwc.org` ## Description FPWC is an Armenia-based conservation organization working to protect the country’s natural and cultural heritage while supporting sustainable development in rural communities. Its approach connects wildlife protection, environmental education, community livelihoods, and responsible tourism, with an emphasis on respect between people and nature. The organization’s work includes biodiversity conservation, forest landscape restoration, bird conservation, and human-bear conflict mitigation. It operates the Caucasus Wildlife Refuge and a Wildlife Rescue Center, and also develops sustainable communities and eco-villages. Through environmental education initiatives, including the nationwide SunChild Eco-Club Network, FPWC provides learning opportunities for children and young people, particularly in remote rural areas. Since 2006, around 2,000 young people have taken part in its environmental education courses. FPWC also promotes ecotourism through SunChild EcoTours, connecting visitors with rural Armenia while creating economic opportunities for local residents. Its programs further address behavior change and community resilience. Individuals and organizations can support its conservation work through donations, partnerships, and engagement with its initiatives. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/fpwc.arm) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/fpwc) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idesT19n6I/w/896/h/264/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791150575089) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idesT19n6I/w/960/h/960/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791150575408) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Saffron | #efc638 | accent | | Copper Canyon | #793c15 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
