# Framalistes - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `framalistes.org` ## Description Framalistes is an ethical email discussion-list service offered by Framasoft, a French not-for-profit association focused on digital education and the cultural commons. It enables people to create and manage email groups where subscribers receive messages and can participate in discussions. List owners can choose private access or a semi-private setup in which public messages are filtered by moderators. Users can also discover groups and manage their subscriptions. The service is free of advertising and is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. Framalistes runs the free software Sympa, whose source code is publicly available to study, contribute to, or install independently. The service has defined limits, including a maximum of 500 subscribers per list, a 5 MB message size, and no archives or shared document space. It does not support newsletters or fully public lists. Framalistes is no longer accepting new lists, although existing lists can still be managed; Framasoft directs people seeking to create a new group to Framagroupes, its equivalent service on a new server. ## Industries - 🖥 Computers Electronics and Technology - 🖥 Email _(under Computers Electronics and Technology)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idz1N4IqDS/w/820/h/827/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792290411797) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Cognac | #9c3c1c | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | | Hot Cinnamon | #dd6418 | accent | ## Fonts - Tovari Sans — asset _(custom)_ - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
