## Description

Franklin For President is an educational entertainment project that brings Benjamin Franklin’s ideas and early life into contemporary conversations through satire, writing, and music. Its central premise imagines Franklin resurrected to help Americans better understand history, democracy, and government. The brand emphasizes education as essential to informed citizenship, while using humor and engaging storytelling to make historical material accessible and memorable.

Its offerings include a historical rap album, a “Hip-Hopera” tracing Franklin’s journey from young rebel to businessman and leader, and music projects such as the Vocabulary Mixtape and The Bill of Rights Mixtape. Franklin For President also shares educational blogs, curriculum, and modern-language adaptations of Franklin’s autobiography and writings. Through Franklin University, it develops satirical and instructional content designed to change how audiences engage with school subjects.

For visitors to Philadelphia, the site promotes walking tours offered by the award-winning Philly Official Guide Tour Company, combining historical stories with rap performances. The project also invites supporters to donate toward its educational work and subscribe for news and updates.
