## Description

Frauenkappelen 2015 was the organizing brand for the Mittelländisches Turnfest, a major regional gymnastics festival held in Frauenkappelen, a village west of Bern, Switzerland, on June 26–28, 2015. Created from a local initiative first imagined six years earlier, the event welcomed more than 4,000 gymnasts from across Switzerland and brought competition, entertainment, and community celebration together on a compact festival site. Its program featured individual and team competitions, published rankings, live event updates, and a broad entertainment offering, including a PC-7 TEAM flight display. Organizers coordinated the festival grounds, accommodation information, food and drink, media, sponsorship, and support from local clubs and the municipality. More than 800 volunteers helped prepare and run the event, with extensive setup and teardown surrounding the festival weekend. After the event, the organizers shared photographs, videos, results, and participant stories, and produced a roughly 100-page commemorative photo book featuring highlights, event facts, and consolidated rankings. A thank-you gathering was also arranged for volunteers.
