## Description

Freecell is a widely popular brand known for its addictive online version of the classic card game. The original Freecell game was created by Paul Alfille in the mid-1970s and featured variant game parameters, weekly tournaments, and in-depth score statistics. However, it was Jim Horne's version developed as a pet project at Microsoft that gained worldwide fame and eventually found its way into Windows. The online version of Freecell, called NetCELL, was written by Denny Cronin, who has been playing Freecell since the early '80s. NetCELL is a new and improved version that uses Javascript to communicate with a server. All moves and scorekeeping are done on the server, which allows for large numbers of simultaneous players across the net. Freecell.net is the go-to platform for Freecell enthusiasts, offering a dynamic and engaging gaming experience.
