# FREEDOM SWIM CLUB - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `freedomswimclub.com` ## Description Freedom Swim Club is a private, not-for-profit community swim club in a wooded setting on Johnsville Road in Sykesville, Maryland. Founded in 1973 to promote community health and well-being, it has become a gathering place for approximately 300 member families from south Carroll County. The club’s pool is open to members during the summer season, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, offering space for swimming, recreation, and family time. A central part of the club’s activities is the Freedom Dolphins swim team, which competes in the Central Maryland Swim League. The club also offers swim lessons and family and social events, including Family Fun Day, movie nights, adult-only gatherings, and an annual crab feast. Members can request to hold pool parties, subject to advance approval. Larger parties or those involving children under 10 may require an additional lifeguard, charged at an hourly rate. With its focus on recreation and connection, Freedom Swim Club brings local families together through swimming and shared activities. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Water Sports _(under Sports)_ - 🎗 Community and Society ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/freedomswimclubeldersburg) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idQxcJpIsk/w/490/h/275/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792808785668) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idQxcJpIsk/w/299/h/299/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792808785837) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Curious Blue | #25aae2 | accent | | Prussian Blue | #002940 | dark | | Malibu | #7abcf5 | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
