FSD145, also known as Freeport School District 145, is committed to providing an innovative and inclusive learning environment for its students. With an enrollment of about 3,800 students, FSD145 serves the children of Freeport and the surrounding communities of Cedarville and Ridott in northwest Illinois. The district consists of nine school buildings, including an International Baccalaureate school, five elementary schools, one upper elementary school, one middle school, one high school, and an alternative high school.

Additionally, there is a transitional education facility for grades 5-12. FSD145's dedicated staff of 725, supported by the school board and administration, works tirelessly to meet the individual needs of each student.
