## Description

Free State Roller Derby (FSRD) is the only women's, flat-track roller derby league in Montgomery County, MD. This hometown and homegrown brand was founded in November 2009 and is run entirely by volunteers. Their dedicated group of skaters and Fresh Meat, along with a team of referees and non-skating officials (NSOs), make FSRD a force to be reckoned with. FSRD is proud to be a 501(c)(3) organization and is committed to promoting the sport of roller derby in their community. FSRD offers a range of products and services to cater to roller derby enthusiasts. They feature two travel teams, the Black-Eyed Suzies (A-level) and the Rock Villains (B-level), who showcase their talents in thrilling competitions. As a Class C member of WFTDA, FSRD is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in the sport. Whether you're a seasoned skater or new to roller derby, FSRD welcomes you to join their league. So, if you're looking for an exciting and empowering experience, lace up your skates and join Free State Roller Derby today.
