Welcome to Boulderkitchen! With around 1800 m² of floor space, we offer you 1200 m² of climbing wall area and approximately 350 bouldering problems in all difficulty levels (2a to 8a). Whether you're a beginner or an athlete, everyone will find happiness here! Our hall features various wall areas that provide a great variety of problems, ensuring plenty of excitement. We have outfitted our facility with the best soft flooring mats (Bänfer) available on the market.

In our training corner, you'll find two campus boards, four Beastmaker boards, a pull-up bar, and more. Furthermore, we have a fully screw-in training wall (Kilterboard) where you can define and train specific boulder problems. Additionally, we offer a separate room for warm-up and stretching, as well as a slackline.

Bouldering is climbing without ropes, helmets, or harnesses up to a height of 3-4 meters, from which you can safely jump down. To ensure landing safety, we have thick impact mats installed in our hall. The climbing challenge consists of solving so-called boulder problems, which involve chaining individual climbing moves and dynamic movements together.

If you want to get stronger or simply try more challenging climbing moves, our Kilterboard (original 12×12) is perfect for you! The board is suitable for almost all levels and can be used even with limited bouldering experience. The angle of the board can be adjusted from 20 to 70 degrees, allowing you to tackle both easy and difficult boulder problems. Wondering how to use the board? Simply download the Kilter Board app, select our location (boulderkitchen_freibrug), choose a boulder problem, and tap on the light bulb icon.

The route will then be projected onto the board in bright colors, and you can start climbing. Curious about the different colors? It's simple. green represents the starting holds for your hands, orange marks possible starting positions for your feet, blue lights up the additional hand movements, and purple indicates the top.

If you have any questions, our team at the counter is ready to assist you. When you need a break, our lounge and the many seating options in the hall are perfect for relaxing. At our counter, you can enjoy the finest coffee from our Italian espresso machine and a variety of other drinks and snacks.
