## Description

UL Freidig is a community youth association serving people who live in, or have a natural connection to, Sørbygda in Rana, Norway. Its purpose is to promote well-being and offer activities for people of different ages. The association’s Freidigstua community venue is central to its work and is available for rental, with booking information, rental rules and prices provided on its website.

UL Freidig brings neighbours together through social and seasonal events. Its programme includes quiz evenings, a Christmas market, a 17 May café, member meetings and community workdays focused on cleaning and maintaining the venue and its grounds. Events may feature café refreshments, food, stalls and prizes. The association also shares information about its committees, board, bylaws, history and membership.

Members and supporters help sustain Freidigstua and the activities it enables. UL Freidig encourages people to support the association through membership and Norway’s grassroots funding scheme, with contributions helping cover operations, maintenance and improvements. Its website and Facebook page provide updates, event details and registration information.
