## Description

FRELIP is a Nigerian-registered nonprofit organisation providing free access to open scholarship and digital learning resources. Built to support African scholarship while serving a global audience, it brings academic materials together in one searchable platform for students, educators and researchers. Its collection includes more than 160,000 open-access records, including journals, articles, theses, books and datasets, alongside free courses and research guides.

FRELIP’s services include eLibrary discovery, advanced search and filtering, curated subject collections, and academic research support. Resources span nine disciplines, from agriculture and the arts to law, engineering, education, environmental science and health. Users can browse open-access journals and follow RSS feeds for new articles, including updates organized by subject or journal. The platform also offers guides to help people find, evaluate, cite and use information ethically, as well as learning materials and digital tools that support independent study. A mobile app enables users to read open-access research offline. FRELIP describes its resources as free to browse and access, with no subscription or login required.
