## Description

Fresh On The Net is an independent music blog established in 2009 by BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Tom Robinson. This vibrant online community thrives on a shared passion for music, bringing together volunteers of diverse tastes and backgrounds. The primary goal of Fresh On The Net is to connect independent musicians with new listeners while offering a platform for music enthusiasts to discover fresh sounds.

Artists can submit their tracks every Monday, and the Fresh On The Net team listens to every submission, capping the intake at 200. Every week, they curate a playlist of the week's submissions on SoundCloud, along with a Listening Post featuring their top 25 selections. Readers have the opportunity to vote for their favorites, which become the Fresh Faves, subsequently reviewed the following week.

In addition to music discovery, Fresh On The Net offers invaluable advice for aspiring musicians, covering tips on creation and promotion without the influence of advertising or commercial ties. Explore the site to uncover a world of innovative music and expert insights.
