## Description

The Friends of Tel Aviv University e.V. is a German nonprofit association founded in 1971 to promote scientific and cultural cooperation between Israel and Germany and support the work of Tel Aviv University (TAU). Its website introduces the association, its team and international network, while sharing information about the university, its academic units, student life, study-abroad opportunities, research news and stories from campus. The association also organizes events and offers ways to become a member, stay informed through its newsletter, and connect with the community. A central part of its work is fundraising for university initiatives. In response to rising needs for mental health care, it is currently seeking donations for TAU’s Post-Trauma Clinic, which treats people affected by trauma, including terror victims, family members and soldiers. Contributions support the clinic’s equipment and operation, with donations directed to the university. Through these activities, the Friends of Tel Aviv University connects supporters in Germany with TAU’s research, education and wider contribution to society.
