Frictional Games is a renowned independent game developer specializing in horror-themed and narrative-driven experiences. Our portfolio includes critically acclaimed titles such as the Penumbra Series, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and SOMA, with Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs published under our banner. Established in 2007 as a virtual company, our team initially worked remotely across Europe before setting up an office in Malmö, Sweden.

Currently, our 25-member team, including interns, is split between the office and remote locations. Following the success of SOMA, we have evolved into a two-project studio. The majority of our team is dedicated to Secret Project #1, currently in production, while a smaller team is engaged in pre-production of Secret Project #2.

Upon the release of Secret Project #1, Secret Project #2 will enter production, and Secret Project #3 will begin pre-production.
