## Description

American Friends of Afeka, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that supports Afeka Academic College of Engineering in Tel Aviv and helps advance engineering education, research, and opportunity in Israel. Through fundraising and donor engagement, it directs support toward students, campus development, and initiatives that strengthen Israel’s technological and economic future.

The organization funds scholarships, mental health initiatives, and academic programs for Afeka students, including IDF reservists. Its initiatives include support for a quiet, safe campus space for reservists and their families, as well as the Yad Eliyahu Campus Endowment Fund, which contributes to construction of Afeka’s new engineering campus in southeast Tel Aviv. American Friends of Afeka also promotes the college’s research and innovation, including engineering projects with applications in medical drone delivery, battlefield blood supply, and smart health monitoring.

By connecting donors with Afeka’s work, the organization aims to help educate the next generation of Israeli engineers, innovators, and leaders. It invites individuals to contribute to student support, infrastructure, and research that serve the college and Israel’s future.
