Friends of Friends Recording Studio is a music recording studio located in the vibrant Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Our loft-style studio provides a focused space for artists to create with intention. We specialize in both analog and digital recording processes, offering a unique blend of vintage and modern techniques.

As of 2020, we have expanded our services to include Dolby Atmos mixing and mastering, adding a new dimension to our repertoire. Founded by Brok Mende, a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience, and in collaboration with partner DeAnna Doersch, our studio is committed to creating a safe and accessible environment for artists to make music. We offer a fully equipped facility with a large control room, two isolation booths, a freelance engineer-friendly environment, and cutting-edge mixing systems.

Additionally, our studio features a full kitchen, lounge, and bathroom to ensure your comfort. In addition to our recording services, we also provide studio rental space, podcast/audiobook production, and film post-production services.
