## Description

Fries Straatfestival is a street arts festival held in Leeuwarden, bringing performances and cultural experiences into the city’s public spaces. Its announced 2027 edition takes place on 4 and 5 June, with a varied programme featuring street theatre, circus, dance, live music and performance art. The festival presents events for different audiences through themed programme selections: “Hoogvliegers” highlights must-see acts, “Nestblijvers” offers accessible choices for the whole family, and “Paradijsvogels” points to experiences for more adventurous arts enthusiasts. Fries Straatfestival aims to remain free and accessible to everyone, and invites the public to help make that possible by supporting the festival in different ways. Visitors can explore programme information, festival updates, news and photo galleries through its website. The organisation also welcomes volunteers and shares practical information for festival-goers, including accommodation offers reported in its news. With a focus on bringing live arts to the streets, Fries Straatfestival connects audiences with a broad mix of performances and encourages people to discover culture together in Leeuwarden.
