FMF provides expert advice through their advisory point, guiding individuals and organizations in making environmentally friendly choices. Additionally, they actively work on projects related to agriculture, forestry, and water cleanliness. FMF also organizes annual events like Skjin Wetter, where participants come together to clean up the Fryske waterways.

By engaging with farmers, FMF seeks to develop new income models that promote carbon sequestration and the growth of trees and shrubs.
