# Friesian - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `friesian.com` ## Description Friesian is an influential brand in the philosophical world, dedicated to the principles and advancement of the Critical Philosophy of renowned thinkers like Immanuel Kant, Arthur Schopenhauer, and the Friesian School. With a history dating back to 1996, Friesian stands as a non-peer-reviewed electronic journal and archive of philosophy. At Friesian, they offer a wide range of thought-provoking and insightful essays that cover various philosophical, historical, scientific, religious, economic, legal, and political topics. These essays cater to a diverse audience, from academic philosophers and graduate students to those new to the field. The aim is to keep philosophy accessible and resist the trend of obscurity in modern discourse. Submissions related to the Friesians or other mentioned philosophers are encouraged, as long as they align with Friesian principles and sensible scholarship. Furthermore, works that shed light on the history of philosophy or complement Kantian or Friesian doctrine are welcomed. While the journal has its own editorial direction and classical liberal perspective, it serves as a valuable platform for philosophers seeking a venue outside the mainstream academic philosophy. Friesian values open dialogue and dissenting perspectives, maintaining a steadfast commitment to liberal traditions. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Philosophy _(under Science and Education)_ - 📰 News and Media ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Hawaiian Tan | #9c5119 | accent | | Brown Bramble | #632408 | dark | | Cream Brulee | #ffdf9c | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
