Dedicated to showcasing the best in art, Frist Art Museum regularly hosts traveling exhibitions from renowned international collections, as well as arranging exceptional shows produced in-house. Currently, Frist Art Museum is proud to present the groundbreaking exhibition, Multiplicity: Blackness in Contemporary American Collage. This immersive exhibition features over 80 brilliant collage and collage-informed works from 52 living artists, meticulously selected to reflect the deep and intricate facets of Black identity. Through the skillful use of paper, fabric, salvaged materials, and more, these artists create unified compositions that express the limitless possibilities of Black-constructed narratives within our fragmented society. In addition to their exhibitions, Frist Art Museum offers a wide range of programs and events, such as tours, workshops, and family activities, ensuring an enriching and inclusive experience for visitors of all ages.
