## Description

Frome Running Festival is a vibrant annual event that invites runners of all levels to participate in a scenic 5k, 10k, or Half Marathon in the heart of Frome town center. Scheduled for August 17, 2025, the festival begins and concludes at the Old Showfield, the town’s largest green space, offering a picturesque backdrop for participants. The race routes feature road closures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience as runners traverse through Frome's historic streets and the beautiful Somerset countryside, including the notable Nunney Castle for the Half Marathon.

This community-driven festival is proudly organized in support of Dorothy House Hospice Care, encouraging participants to raise funds while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow runners. Recognized as one of the best running events in the UK, Frome Running Festival caters to everyone, from beginners to seasoned athletes, with meticulously measured and licensed courses. Join us for an unforgettable running experience that blends competition, charity, and the stunning scenery of Frome.
