## Description

Frontera Grill is a Chicago restaurant founded in 1987 by chef Rick Bayless and Deann Groen Bayless, inspired by their travels and research in Mexico. Located in the River North neighborhood, it serves regional Mexican cuisine shaped by vibrant flavors, including tomatillos, black beans and chiles. The restaurant continues to refresh its menus while building relationships with Midwestern farmers and using locally sourced ingredients.

Guests can choose from lunch, brunch, dinner, happy hour, vegetarian and dessert menus, alongside wine and margaritas. Frontera Grill offers indoor and heated-patio dining, with table reservations available through OpenTable. Food can also be ordered for pickup or delivery through DoorDash, and selected dishes are shipped nationwide through Goldbelly. These include golden carnitas and Oaxacan black mole meals. The restaurant also provides catering, gift cards and private-event hosting in three event rooms at its Clark Street location, including the more intimate Morales Room. Frontera Grill is part of the Frontera Restaurants group, which includes Topolobampo, Xoco and other dining brands.
