## Description

Frontera España-Portugal (FRONTESPO) is a dedicated project aimed at comprehensive linguistic documentation along the historic border between Spain and Portugal. This initiative addresses the rich confluence of linguistic varieties in the area, which has evolved due to various sociocultural dynamics, including migration and the gradual loss of traditional lifestyles. FRONTESPO's primary offerings include an extensive oral corpus collected from numerous border communities, a multidisciplinary bibliographic database that compiles resources spanning anthropology, economics, and literature, as well as a lexicon treasure that highlights shared vocabulary unique to this border region. Additionally, the project actively engages with the public through a blog and social media platforms, sharing updates about research findings, scholarly presentations, and emerging content. With a commitment to preserving the unique cultural heritage of the border, FRONTESPO serves as a vital resource for researchers and communities alike, aiming to revitalize and honor the distinct identity of this culturally rich area.
