Frontier Communications Corporation, commonly known as Frontier, is a telecommunications company based in the United States. It was founded in 1935 as Citizens Utilities Company and later transformed into Citizens Communications Company in 2000. In 2008, the company adopted its current name, Frontier Communications Corporation.

Frontier is headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut. As of 2021, the company provides various telecommunications services, including internet, digital TV, and digital phone services to residential and business customers in 25 U. S.

It operates through two business segments: Customer and Commercial. The Customer segment offers services primarily to residential customers, while the Commercial segment provides services for small, medium, and large businesses, as well as governments and wholesale customers. On a global scale, Frontier primarily operates within the United States.

It does not have any noteworthy subsidiaries, joint ventures, or partnerships outside of the country.
