## Description

Friends of Richmond Park is a dedicated charity focusing on the conservation and enjoyment of Richmond Park, London's largest Royal Park and a significant National Nature Reserve. Established in 1637 by King Charles I, the park spans 2,500 acres and serves as a crucial habitat for diverse wildlife, including ancient trees, red deer, and various endangered species. The Friends aim to preserve this natural treasure while fostering community engagement through a variety of activities. They offer guided and nature walks, educational events, and resources like the Let’s Discover booklets to promote understanding of this historic landscape. Members can enjoy exclusive news, a shop for nature-related products, and opportunities for volunteering. The organization also champions conservation efforts within the park, maintaining its ecological integrity and enhancing visitor experiences. Friends of Richmond Park invites everyone to connect with nature while ensuring the park remains a vital part of London's heritage.
