## Description

Furniture Recycling Project (FRP) is a registered charity serving communities across Gloucestershire since 1996. It works to keep reusable items out of landfill while making good-quality household furniture and other essentials available at affordable prices. Through its shops, FRP offers a broad selection of sofas, beds, dining sets and office furniture, alongside refurbished and upcycled pieces. The organisation also supplies safe, clean reuse products and tested electrical items at low cost, helping customers furnish their homes or workplaces on a budget.

FRP provides a county-wide free collection service for donated furniture and invites people to support its work through donations and volunteering. Volunteer opportunities include meaningful community involvement and workplace training. The charity’s Gloucester shop is located at Eastern Avenue Retail Park, with a new superstore planned for Newport, Gwent, in April 2026. FRP also offers reasonably priced delivery to GL postcodes and emphasizes helpful customer service. Its work combines practical reuse with affordable shopping and opportunities for local people to contribute to their community.
