## Description

The Fehmarn Ring Riding Association (Fehmarnscher Ringreiterverein e.V., or FRRV) is a sports club on the island of Fehmarn, founded in 1912. With more than 500 members, it has grown from the northern German tradition of ring riding into a prominent equestrian community in Schleswig-Holstein. Its riders have earned medals and competed at national and international championships, Nations Cups, European Championships and the Olympic Games. The association supports riders of all ages, with youth development and sound foundational training central to its work.

The FRRV organises the long-running Fehmarn Horse Festival, along with other tournaments and events. Its modern equestrian centre provides indoor and outdoor riding facilities, including a 70-by-30-metre indoor arena and a 65-by-125-metre ebb-and-flow outdoor arena. The venue also supports training, competitions and events, with facilities available for use or hire, including an event hall and casino space. The association shares tournament information, results and news, and offers information for visitors interested in riding on Fehmarn and guest horse stalls.
