FreeRide Surfing is a surf school and surf camp based in Sagres, on Portugal’s Algarve coast. Established in 2002, the brand welcomes surfers of all abilities, combining local wave knowledge with a relaxed, supportive approach focused on safety, confidence, and progression. Its certified instructors offer group and private surf lessons, beginner instruction, advanced coaching, and guided sessions to help guests find suitable waves around Sagres.

FreeRide Surfing provides quality surfboard and wetsuit rentals, as well as Surf & Stay packages that bring together lessons, equipment, and accommodation. Guests can visit the year-round Surf Centre in Sagres or the seasonal Beach Hut at Praia do Cordoama, open from June to November. The Sagres centre also has a surf shop.
