## Description

The Finance Sector Union (FSU) is an Australian union that has advocated for finance workers for more than 100 years. It works to improve pay, conditions and workplace rights, helping members navigate issues such as underpayments, restructures, disputes and changes to enterprise agreements. The union’s Advocacy Team provides workplace advice, support and representation, while members may also access legal advice for complex work-related or personal matters.

Beyond individual support, the FSU campaigns for changes across the finance industry. Its priorities include ethical adoption of artificial intelligence, protecting local bank branches, advancing gender equity, reducing the gender pay gap, and improving workplace policies around menopause and menstruation. The union also shares workplace updates, news, reports and campaign information to keep members informed.

Membership includes journey insurance for travel to and from work and access to exclusive discounts through the Union Shopper program, covering areas such as shopping, fuel, travel and holidays.
