## Description

FulgineaMente ODV is a cultural association based in Foligno, Umbria, Italy, dedicated to promoting culture and the value of books, with a particular focus on making reading enjoyable and engaging. Its activities connect readers, writers, schools and local communities through literary projects and events. The association’s reading project brings authors into schools and community venues, where students read and discuss books before meeting their writers. Other initiatives include “Il Piacere di Leggere” (The Pleasure of Reading), “Lib(e)ri dentro,” Little Free Library, “Un libro e un sorriso,” and “I nonni raccontano,” which highlights storytelling by older generations. FulgineaMente also organizes the Premio Letterario FulgineaMente, an annual literary award for Umbrian writers, with sections for poetry, narrative and children’s literature. Its program includes author presentations, public readings, meetings for children and guided visits to local places. Through these services and events, the association encourages participation in reading, supports writers and helps audiences discover literature and the cultural heritage of the Foligno area.
