## Description

Functional Bodybuilding is a training and education brand founded by Marcus Filly, a six-time CrossFit Games athlete and coach. Its approach combines bodybuilding and functional fitness to help people build visible muscle and strength while moving well and avoiding the burnout that can come with intense training. The brand’s central program, Persist, is an online training subscription designed to support strength, physique, power, and movement exploration in a range of training settings. New members can start with a free two-week trial.

Functional Bodybuilding also offers e-books and focused eight-week programs covering aesthetics, aerobic fitness, and foundational training, alongside kettlebell workouts and conditioning sessions. Its learning resources include workout demonstrations, articles, lifestyle, training and nutrition guidance, a macro calculator, a workout quiz, and the Look Good Move Well podcast. Additional offerings include coaching, a mobility library, and a newsletter with free workouts. Through its programming and educational materials, the brand aims to give athletes practical tools to improve movement, pursue their goals, and enjoy sustainable training.
