FAPEC’s projects address a range of community and environmental needs. Examples include vocational training for people in prison, sustainable agriculture and permaculture initiatives with vulnerable communities, research into the effects of fire and flooding on Pantanal biodiversity, and mapping areas with potential for efficient irrigation. The foundation also promotes technology transfer, training and social intervention, and participates in research and innovation related to green hydrogen through UFMS and RBCIP.
