## Description

Fundación Formentor is a cultural organisation dedicated to celebrating literature and bringing writers and readers together. Its stated purpose is to organise the Formentor Prize for Literature and the Literary Conversations, two initiatives at the heart of its work. The prize recognises distinguished literary achievement, and the foundation shares information about its laureates and the jury’s decisions. Its website also presents the Literary Conversations through programme details, participant information and records of earlier events, offering audiences ways to explore the discussions and the people involved.

Alongside these programmes, Fundación Formentor maintains a digital archive of photographs and videos, publishes Carnets, and provides a shop. Its news and press sections share updates and resources, while a newsletter offers subscribers information about developments related to the prize and the conversations. The foundation’s online presence also includes links to its YouTube channel and social media. Through literary awards, public conversations and accessible cultural content, Fundación Formentor supports engagement with contemporary writing and international literary voices.
