Fundació FCRI is a private entity established in 1986 that aims to promote scientific culture, scientific and technical vocations, public-private collaboration, and entrepreneurship in the field of research and innovation. They have three sections of activities: Scientific Vocations, Dissemination, and Communication, and Innovation. Over 1.1 million people have participated in 26 editions of the Science Week organized by FCRI, while 61 researchers and 35 organizations have been awarded in 32 editions of the National Research Awards. Additionally, more than 5,500 primary, secondary, and high school teachers have benefited from FCRI's scientific updating activities. Close to 87,000 individuals have participated in FCRI's on-site and virtual activities, and 489 female researchers from both public and private sectors have advocated for the role of women in science in front of 34,000 primary and secondary school students.
