The Fund for the Public Interest is a national nonprofit organization that collaborates with leading environmental and public interest organizations in the United States. Established in 1982, our mission is to engage people in finding solutions to the pressing problems of our time. We operate the nation's largest and most effective canvassing and telephone membership operation, empowering our dedicated canvassers and callers to engage with individuals on a personal level.

Through these meaningful interactions, we amplify the voices of thousands, and sometimes millions, of people through petitions, emails, small donations, and meetings. Our work is focused on addressing critical issues such as climate change, reducing plastic waste, and eliminating harmful pesticides.
