## Description

The Fund for Global Human Rights is dedicated to empowering grassroots human rights activists worldwide, driving the quest for justice and equality in various contexts, including East Africa, Latin America, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and West Asia and North Africa. With a commitment to investing resources directly in communities facing oppression, the organization supports over 1,400 organizations across more than 90 countries, delivering over $166 million to enhance their efforts.

FGHR provides flexible funding and strategic support to human rights defenders, helping them navigate the challenges of restrictive environments. They work on critical issues such as climate justice, labor rights, women’s rights, and the rights of migrants, children, and the LGBTQ+ community. The organization believes that those experiencing injustice are best positioned to create sustainable solutions and catalyze transformational change. Through community engagement, a collaborative network of supporters, and insightful advocacy, the Fund for Global Human Rights fuels movements striving for dignity and equity for all.
