## Description

Fundisval is a nonprofit tutelary foundation in Spain’s Valencian Community, created at the initiative of families’ associations supporting people with intellectual disabilities. Its purpose is to help ensure that no one is left without social or legal protection, particularly when they have no family support or relatives are unable to take responsibility for their legal support. The foundation works toward full inclusion and greater opportunities for people to develop and pursue their personal goals.

Fundisval’s volunteers provide personal accompaniment and help defend the rights and interests of the people supported by the foundation. Its services include specialized guidance, information and legal advice, support with procedures concerning legal assistance or curatorship, and information about resources available through the Valencian Community. Where entrusted by the relevant court, the foundation may also provide support or undertake curatorship responsibilities. It offers individualized advice to families and organizations, as well as training on disability-related matters. Its work includes person-centered planning shaped by each individual’s needs.
