## Description

FundsforWriters is an award-winning resource for writers, run by prolific author C. Hope Clark. Its mission is to help writers advance their careers with practical opportunities and guidance. The site and its free weekly newsletters highlight grants, fellowships, crowdfunding opportunities, cash-paying contests, writing markets, publishers, agents, and employers. Clark says the listings reflect opportunities she would consider herself, excluding low-paying or exposure-only markets. The publication also features articles and advice on writing, freelancing, career development, and the business of earning a living as a writer. Recognized by Writer’s Digest as one of the 101 Best Writing Websites for 23 consecutive years, FundsforWriters serves a substantial audience of writers through its online content and email newsletters. It offers advertising for writing-related products, services, courses, and conferences, while also purchasing short features from freelancers. Readers can support the free publication through one-time or monthly donations. With its blend of curated opportunities, editorial resources, and promotional services, FundsforWriters aims to help writers pursue their goals and build sustainable careers.
