# Fun Hideaways - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `funhideaways.com` ## Description Fun Hideaways is a small, referral-only directory of privately owned off-grid cabins, fire lookouts, and backcountry shacks in the Inland Northwest. Established in 2011, it brokers stays at eleven properties, each personally visited by the team. The collection includes eight cabins, a decommissioned fire lookout, and two converted shacks, with options ranging from year-round log cabins to seasonal lakeside and riverside retreats. Listings provide practical details such as capacity, access season, heating, facilities, and nearby activities. Guests can find places suited to stargazing, fishing, family trips, or a quiet escape, though the emphasis is on simple, remote stays rather than resort amenities. Most properties have wood heat, limited or no phone service, and basic facilities. Bookings are arranged through introductions and guest referrals, with returning visitors using their existing host channels. The directory also sets clear expectations: guests receive directions and access details before arrival, pack out their rubbish, replace the firewood they use, and follow local gate rules. Parties and weddings are not permitted. ## Industries - ✈️ Travel and Tourism - ✈️ Accommodation and Hotels _(under Travel and Tourism)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Camping Scouting and Outdoors _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Crown of Thorns | #7a1f1f | accent | | Astral | #3670a8 | dark | | Ecru White | #f9f6f0 | light | ## Fonts - Archivo Black — asset _(google)_ - Archivo — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
