About
Description
Phillips Fundamental Learning Center is an empowering brand that specializes in teaching children, especially those with dyslexia, how to read, write, and spell. They also provide research-based literacy programs for adults, enabling them to support children better. Founded by Gretchen Andeel and Jeanine Phillips in 2001, this center was born out of their own personal struggle to find help for their children who were facing learning difficulties.
With a focus on building reading confidence one child at a time, Phillips Fundamental Learning Center has expanded its services to offer distance-learning opportunities for parents and educators outside of the Wichita area. Additionally, they have established the Rolph Learning Academy, a full-time school catering to elementary-aged children with dyslexia. Led by passionate executive director Jeanine Phillips, the center has made a significant impact on countless children's reading skills, despite the challenges of dyslexia recognition in Kansas public schools.
They have recently introduced The Sound Case, a comprehensive curriculum designed to help emerging readers. With their commitment to empowering and enlightening, Phillips Fundamental Learning Center continues to make a difference in the lives of children and their families
