Furballs Furever Rescue is a nonprofit 501c3 animal rescue that was founded in December 2020. It all began when our founder, Kat, discovered her passion for helping animals during the pandemic. After fostering two young shepherds named Apollo and Luna, Kat realized the importance of rescues and the need for immediate medical attention for animals like them.

Determined to make a difference, she started Furballs Furever Rescue. At Furballs Furever Rescue, we are dedicated to rescuing and vetting as many furballs as we can. Our mission is to provide them with the love and care they deserve until we find them their perfect forever homes.

We are a 100% donation-based and volunteer-run organization, driven by our belief that animals should be given more than just basic human decency. Our team, led by Kat Chilidonia, is composed of passionate individuals who share a deep devotion to animal welfare. From our dog and kitty coordinators to our social media queens and web designer, everyone plays a vital role in our rescue efforts.
