The Furukawa Art Museum, located in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, is a unique cultural destination established in November 1991. It was founded by the late Furukawa Teisaburo, the museum's first director, who dedicated his life to collecting a diverse range of art with the belief that these treasures should be shared and enjoyed by the public. The museum is renowned as the only art museum in Chikusa Ward, showcasing a vast collection of approximately 2,800 pieces, primarily focused on modern Japanese paintings, oil paintings, ceramics, and intricate craftworks, including 15th-century Western illuminated manuscripts.

In addition to its exhibitions, the museum hosts art lectures and events while producing high-definition video content that narrates its collection.
