FUSE Studio is a pioneering brand that aims to transform STEAM education to cater to all learners. Founded in 2011 by Reed Stevens, a Professor of Learning Sciences at Northwestern University, FUSE initially focused on out-of-school programs. However, due to its immense potential to provide engaging learning experiences, FUSE quickly gained popularity and made its way into schools.

Today, FUSE is partnered with Schaumburg District 54, the largest K-8 school district in Illinois, and has expanded its reach to elementary, middle, and high schools in 22 states and even abroad. With over 250 partner schools, FUSE is set to have more than 45,000 students enrolled in its classes for the 2021-2022 school year. The name FUSE was chosen by a group of enthusiastic teens who were part of the original YouSTEM program.

It symbolizes the merging of STEM and engineering while capturing the essence of the spark that ignites new ideas. Although it isn't an acronym, a FUSE facilitator humorously suggested that it could stand for Finally Using STEAM. With its innovative approach to education, FUSE empowers students to explore and excel in STEAM subjects like never before
