Future of Africa is a brand that aims to inspire and empower the next generation of ethical and skilled technical professionals who will drive the economic future of Africa. Founded by TK Mawuli Azaglo in 2008 as a campus club at Wilfrid Laurier University, Future of Africa was created to break misconceptions and stereotypes about Africa among university students. Over the years, Future of Africa has expanded its work to include engaging with homeless youth in Accra, Ghana. They deliver a holistic 5-year program that focuses on wellness, technical education, and entrepreneurial skills for youth between 13-15 years old. Their programs, including Midzo, Miahaya, Miasrornu, and Mialike, aim to provide friendship, meals, emergency healthcare, rehabilitation, education, and vocational training to children living in street situations. The organization also works towards reconnecting these children with their families and preparing them for a brighter future. Future of Africa believes in the power of education and entrepreneurship to create positive change. With the support of their Norviwo Extended Family, they are dedicated to helping homeless youth become productive citizens and leaders in their communities.
