## Description

Futuridea is a nonprofit association founded in 2008 to promote useful, sustainable innovation and support development in disadvantaged areas. Based in Benevento, Italy, it brings together universities, businesses, training bodies, professionals, citizens, and creatives around sustainable local development, environmental protection, and social equity. The association leads an Innovation Hub at Piano Cappelle, set within a rural campus, and works with scientific and cultural institutions on research and public outreach.

Its activities span landscape conservation and biodiversity, environmental and agri-food research, technology, education, social innovation, and the enhancement of fragile inland territories. Futuridea develops sustainable approaches to managing local natural resources and has produced a rural landscape manifesto and related publications. It also organizes cultural and editorial initiatives, events, artistic projects, and training to support entrepreneurship. The association is accredited by Invitalia for the Resto al Sud measure and has delivered the Yes I Start Up business-startup training project. Through projects such as Universal Civil Service, Futuridea also creates opportunities for young people to build autonomy and take part in community life.
